On Tuesday 23rd May 2017, Global Skills Ledger Ltd hosted a meeting with European Erasmus+ project partners in London.
The team of 15 colleagues are collaborating under the Erasmus+ strand KA2 – ‘Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices’ in relation to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the Furniture and Upholstery industries. Their aim is the develop careers guidance frameworks and modular e-learning training programmes which will develop the skills and competence of those working in the Furniture sector.

The project will see the development of new occupational skills standards and supporting curriculum training materials, staff training and education, and a careers advisory tool with job vacancy matching service. Initially it will be used in a pilot within Turkey and then rolled out into other countries. The project, funded by the EU’s Erasmus+ programme will last for a total of 28 months, ending December 2018.
