Erasmus+ Furniture Partners Hosted in UK

On Tuesday 23rd May 2017, Global Skills Ledger Ltd hosted a meeting with European Erasmus+ project partners in London. The team of 15 colleagues are collaborating under the Erasmus+ strand KA2 - 'Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices' in relation to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the Furniture and Upholstery industries. Their aim is the develop careers guidance frameworks and modular e-learning training programmes which will develop the skills and competence of those working in the Furniture sector. Turkish Furniture delegation completes training in UK

Global Skills Ledger Ltd is a key partner in an Erasmus+ project which will see the development and implementation of a new careers guidance system and a comprehensive modularised online training programme for the Furniture sector in Turkey. Global Skills Ledger is working with UK awarding organisation, Occupational Awards Limited (OAL) to support the development of Furniture skills to enable businesses right across Europe to fully participate in the implementation of Industry4.0.  The EU Erasmus funded project IN4WOOD will involve the close collaboration of 13 partner organisations from 5 different countries.
