Global Skills Ledger’s Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Ledger, will be using his considerable and award-winning technical and vocational education and training (TVET) expertise during a secondment to the UK Government.
Jonathan will be working as the Global TVET Specialist for the Department of International Trade’s Education Team. He will lead the team’s work in developing commercial international TVET opportunities for UK providers, developing the UK TVET export capacity, and promoting the UK’s capabilities in the sector.

From Monday 20th to Friday 24th March 2017, a delegation from Turkish education institutes completed a comprehensive training programme in the UK. Jonathan Ledger, CEO of Global Skills Ledger was the keynote speaker at the inaugural technical education and vocational training (TVET) seminar in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia on Monday 20th February 2017. He showcased the UK TVET system and all it’s component functions. Jonathan also shared many examples of his global experience of TVET implementation to demonstrate that the UK’s methodology and best practice can be successfully contextualised to ensure the country’s education ambitions are achieved.
